The other way to fix a lose rivet once it's located is to re-peen the rivet. Have some one hold the head of a 2-4lb. hammer on the rivet inside the boat while another person gives it a good whack with a heavy ball-peen hammer. It may take a couple of whacks, but they will tighten up. It's usually good to check the rivets in the area as well. Usually there's not just a single loose rivet.
