A recent discussion on one of the forums I belong to revolved around problem water tanks. Solutions ranged from replacing the tank with a new plastic molded tank, a stainless steel tank or a flexible bladder tank.
There were problems with each of the proposed solutions. There wasn’t a stock plastic tank that would fit and a custom made tank would be expensive if you could find someone to do it. The stainless steel tank was also an expensive option but at least it was easier to find tank fabricators.
That left the flexible tank. Flexible tanks aren’t cheap but they are available off-the-shelf and can be added in odd locations, including inside an existing tank (once adequate access holes have been cut). Chafe is a big problem for flexible tanks and the tank must be properly supported to avoid damaging the surrounding structure.
A fourth option has just appeared on the market, the Vetus Easy Tank. This unique tank comes to you as a flexible tank. It is installed in its final location. After being places, the normal tank access plate, with inlets and outlets, is replaced by a special access plate that is equipped with a UV light. The UV, light, shining inside the tank, cures the outer tank liner to form a rigid shell.
Once the outer shell has cured, the light is removed and a food grade inner liner is inserted in the now rigid tank shell. The normal access plate is reinstalled and there you have it, a flexible hard tank. Or is it a hard flexible tank? Either way, it’s a different solution to a common problem.

That must be safe for the tanks so they don't get scratched or cracked open and that mus be a flexible hard tank. And i really like the design.
